As a property owner, you can generally expect to receive your rental income within 7 business days each month.
Typical Timeline
- Most tenants pay rent within the first 3 days of the month.
- It typically takes 2–3 business days for the funds to settle in our bank account.
- Once the funds are available, we will initiate the transfer to your account, which usually takes another 2–3 business days to complete.
What Can Affect the Timing?
- Incomplete Rent Collection: If the full rent amount has not been received by the 4th of the month, we will promptly follow up with the tenant and remind them to submit payment as soon as possible. However, if a tenant pays late, this may delay your rent transfer.
- Unexpected Delays: If for any reason we cannot send the rent within 7 business days, we will notify you with the reason for the delay.
- Late Payments: In Massachusetts, we are permitted to charge a late fee if rent is more than 30 days past due.
Deductions Before Transfer
Before transferring funds to you, we will deduct:
- Property management fees
- Any applicable service costs (e.g., landscaping, cleaning, or repair fees)
The remaining balance will be deposited to your designated account.
